Phone sex is a situation where by one is talking about or listening to explicit erotic matters on phone. It usually involve two persons who are apart but find themselves in relationship or in love or somebody paying money to phone sex service provider to listen to erotic issues. Telephone sex is gaining popularity by the day due to the fact that physical sex is dangerous, there are the risks of contacting sexually transmitted diseases. The men that are involved in phone sex usually look for a way to relieve their sexual arousal by engaging themselves in masturbation, while the ladies trying to relieve themselves by fingering their pussies.

Phone sex is now popular to the extent that some people are openly advocating for it. Though I think is the safest sex one can have due the rampant spread of HIV/AIDS infections. For instance in October 2000, a group of Russian health experts took out newspaper advertisements to promote telephone sex in response to an increase in HIV infections.

However, other people are promoting phone sex strictly for financial purpose, this is because, it is now a good medium to make good millions of dollars. There are now phone sex services where people pay to hear obscenities. This has become a billion-dollar industry in the United States.

Further to support phone sex, the book "The Fantasy Factory has this to say: "Intimate physical and emotional contact is dangerous. There are physical risks of sexual transmitted diseases, personal/professional risk of exposure, and fear of judgments and repercussions of 'abnormal' desire. Phone sex subverts the risk".

Agreed, phone sex does not involve physical contact, hence, there is no risk of contacting any sexual transmitted diseases. But doe this means that phone sex should be encouraged? Or does this means that there is nothing wrong with it? Or is it that there are no dangers or risk at all? Please, comment.
